JM's Top Twenty-Five, week ending 11/11/2017

1 Miami, Florida 9-0

Again, hear me out: Miami's biggest win looks better than anything 'Bama's done, and they're also undefeated. Ergo ...

2 Alabama 10-0

Auburn's a real threat, but it'd get the Tide to number one ... if Miami doesn't defeat Clemson.

3 Clemson 9-1

Can't overlook South Carolina before Miami in the ACC title game.

4 Oklahoma 9-1

Shredded a good TCU D.

5 Wisconsin 10-0

When Northwestern and Iowa are your best wins ... but, still, they're good wins. What people are forgetting is that the Badgers tried to have a big non-conference game against BYU. Sadly, for the first time in years, BYU sucks.

6 Georgia 9-1

And it's that time of year.

7 Auburn 8-2

If they run the table, they're in, even with two losses.

8 Central Florida 9-0

Hoping for even more chaos. Could they sneak in? Nah.

9 Notre Dame 8-2

They're much better than they showed on Saturday night.

10 Oklahoma State 8-2

And they'll look good for the rest of the year, now that it's too late for them. Typical Oklahoma State.

11 Ohio State 8-2

Because of dip-shit name-recognition, they're not out of it.

12 Southern California 9-2

Same here.

13 Texas Christian 8-2

But they are.

14 Washington State 9-2

An enigma.

15 Penn State 8-2

Could still emerge as the Big Ten champion.

16 Memphis 8-1

If they'd beaten Central Florida, they'd be in the discussion.

17 North Carolina State 7-3

What might have been ...

18 Michigan 8-2

19 Mississippi State 7-3

Moved up with a loss.

20 San Diego State 8-2

I must be the only guy in the country who thinks they belong in the Top 25.

21 Louisiana State 7-3

22 Stanford 7-3

So ... if Wazzu wins the Apple Cup, Stanford beats Cal, loses to the Irish and beats USC in the Pac-12 title game, they'll be a four-loss conference champion. Ridiculous.

23 West Virginia 7-3

Inconsistent, but no pushover.

24 Northwestern 7-3

Their wins are looking better.

25 Washington 8-2

Theirs are not.
"Jimmy Connors is a POS."
"Yeah, but that's part of his charm."
