Still not watched more than the first episode. Am wondering if I should watch more to give me more right to lambaste it or if it's just going to irritate me even more, especially knowing that hideous starship is still to come...oh the dilemma!

Look ... we all know it's Star Trek for millennials/the ADHD generation, which means the plot is convoluted without being complex, the characters are for the most part one-note caricatures, the dialogue is occasionally clever but instead of sustained excellence it's usually a series of one liners out of context, the tone is relentlessly and tiresomely dark for the sake of "realism", and continuity has taken a big boner in the butt.
